Scholarship Information

$1,315 towards the PSMMS held November 15-20 at Lake Arrowhead.
Applications must be postmarked by September 30, 2009

District 1 will award two scholarships of $1,315.00 each, which covers the cost of registration for
the weeklong school. Scholarship recipients are responsible for their own travel arrangements to
and from the school. Travel generally requires airfare to Ontario Airport in Southern California.
Once at the airport, a shuttle to Lake Arrowhead is provided by the school.

Scholarship Information

Three scholarships are awarded to college students that attend a college or permanently reside in District I and are majoring in Recreation/Parks/Leisure Studies or a related field.

The Dale Pucket Memorial Scholarship of $500 for Academic Achievement and two, Steve Mason Community Service Scholarships of $500 each are awarded annually.

These scholarships are funded by the profits generated from our District I events throughout the year.

Candidates may apply for both scholarships but must complete two separate packets.

29 Re-distribute to all.

5 Final reminder e-mail to CPRS District I members to remind summer staff.
31 Applications DUE

1-13 Committee Review
14 Announce Awardees
18 Golf Tournament- Announce Awardees & include names, schools, etc. at Tournament
